Empowering Learning

I had agreed to take a long term contract through this company. Initially, the process of agreement and registration was swift. However, due to ongoing commitments and then family illnesses, the start date on my part was held back. The messages from the consultant Wendy Moore regarding this were quite unpleasant, questioning my integrity. I at all times was up front and transparent - I was accused of lacking commitment and being full of excuses.

I am incensed by this, as this person has no right whatsoever to make judgments over a situation that she has no empathy or indeed understanding of. Clearly the mantra of this company is purely focused on money. I will be making a formal complaint through the regulatory body. This could have been dealt with much better and without unpleasantness

I had an overall amazing experience with Empowering Learning. I was rarely out of work, which included a long-term placement, gaining the best experience. The staff are lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Emails and phone calls are also promptly replied to. I can't thank Luke from the Cardiff branch enough for finding me a brilliant placement, and for his continued support throughout! I would recommend this agency to anyone interested in this area of work.

I have been with empowering learning for a few months now and my experience has been great so far! Chris and Claudia have been really helpful and always try their best to find me vacancies that are convenient for me. They are always willing to answer all my questions right away. I've been working with Empowering Learning for a while now and if you're looking for a job in a school, I couldn't recommend them more. Every step of the process has been really simple and I've felt fully supported throughout, from initial conversations, to right to work checks, sorting out my dbs and finally being placed within a school. My point of contact throughout has been Mark Goldie and his help has been truly invaluable, he's patiently answered my endless questions and supported me in finding a placement that was the right fit for.

Mark listened to my concerns about not wanting to be too far from my house and managed to find me a school 20 minutes away door to door, he also encouraged me to take something that was slightly out of my comfort zone and I'm so glad I did because I've found it really rewarding. Great company! Ever since I joined, I managed to get placements in some really good schools in my area and meet some great people on the way. Empowering Learning offered me lots of training that helped my do my job to a more professional standard. Everyone I have worked with so far, Chris, Imran and Claudia, were incredibly helpful and supportive.

I have had a good experience with Empowering Learning, Claudia and Chris in London were helpful to find me a work placement quickly and I was also able to do free training including a Team Teach course. I got lucky as my first placement turned to long-term position at the same class. Also I appreciate prompt support with all my queries even in non-office hours.

I have been with Empowering for a while now and really enjoyed my experience so far. Always polite. Always open and easy to talk too. I have interacted with both Claudia and Jack. Simply can't speak highly enough of the two. They are super helpful and always there when and if you may need them. They are there for you professionally, but also when times get rough at work they are also a call away to lend an ear. :) I will continue with Jack into my new journey in Sep 2021 and I know I can count on him. :) I have done a couple of courses with Empowering, one of the courses was *team teach* for some schools this is very valuable as it was for me in the school I was with.

Given my experience when talking to other agency staff, it's uncommon for agencies to provide you with knowledge and/or training, therefore putting you ahead of other staff from other agencies, as well as building you and your confidence. Empowering Learning really has just been fantastic over the last 2 years I've worked with them. They've always responded when I've reached out, tried to assign to areas where it's easier for me to travel and just in general have been very kind and warm when communicating with me. Empowering learning Cardiff Recruitment have been a great help. Elizabeth Kemp my consultant, she is marvellous she managed to take all the stress out of finding work for me in a very short time as soon as I first signed up. She managed to find the role best suited for me and put me forward for it. The standard of customer service has been amazing, being able to answer any of my questions and staying on top of any developments.
