Demob Job was established in 2005 by our Managing Director Adrian Cheesman after he completed a successful full career in The Royal Corps of Signals. His vision was to build an ethical and professional recruitment business which would champion the employability of personnel who have previously served in our Armed Forces; Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.
The skills and trades within the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force reflect very strongly those that can be found in the commercial world. Due to the wide range of engineering and technical careers found within the military, we have the ability to deliver ex-servicemen and women into the majority of commercial sectors for permanent positions.
Since 2005 Demob Job have been providing assistance and advice to companies across the UK who are struggling to find the engineering and technical talent they need for their business. Our talent pool consists of candidates who have previously served in our Armed Forces; Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.

Extremely informative tips on Interview do's and dont's. This webinar came right on time as I had an interview the very next day. I particularly liked the video shared on the online interview - it gave me some great ideas that I of course utilized in my online interview. Guess what! Apologies just realised I need to state a bit more than just some stars. I attended a webinar that was presented by Adrian. The webinar was related to a process when planning to leave the MOD; got a few years left but need to start planning the next step. Absolutely spot on, kept on time and concise! Adrian's idiot guide is simple and easy to follow.
It was way better than what the army offer based on sitting in with one of juniors when he received a resettlement brief. After this webinar I felt confident in how to approach the next step of my career but I realised I need to start now. Adrian, thank you for investing your time on us by supplying your wealth of knowledge! Hopefully we can get more webinars from you as it brings a wealth of knowledge into our community!

Adrian and his team have been fantastic from the first phone call to the last. He even phoned to wished me luck the night before my interview as he did on my first day on the job. Adrian was always there to offer support and guidance when ever I needed help, he explained everything down to the smallest detail and spoke at length about the whole process that was needed for the new position. Leaving the military is a daunting thought for everyone. But to leave a when a pandemic is in full swing really made me rethink my options. However after speaking with Adrian at Demob, my mind was at ease. We spoke about what I was looking for with regards to my future. After only days he found what I can only describe, as a dream job for me. From then on the process was swift.
I never felt alone and Adrian was there every step of the way. A few months ago I was petrified about how I would pay to keep a roof over my head. Now I'm comfortably in a job I enjoy. I can't thank Adrian and Demob job enough for getting me on the right path to a fulfilling career.

I used Demobjob to recruit a very high quality ex-forces candidate for a specialist technical position. They were not like most other recruitment agencies in that they took the time to fully understand the role and my ideal candidate. Joanne was highly professional, courteous and was very selective in sending only CVs which matched the brief perfectly.
