Unfortunately my experience with Kintec was very poor and will be the last experience I have with them. I contacted a Kintec recruiter to advise them that I was a preferred candidate for one of their roles as I had been contacted directly by the job holder. I applied for the position through the recruiter as I was advised too and waited. The following week after the role had already closed I directly contacted the job holder to see if they had received my application, however to my surprise I found out that my application had not been received.
I immediately contacted the recruiter and was told after some checking "it appears that an error has occurred and your application wasn't submitted". After this I completely lost faith in the Kintec recruiter and had to find another method to secure an interview. So I contacted another recruitment company who had also posted the same role. I explained my situation to them and they were very helpful and were able to talk to the right people to secure an interview.
Unfortunately in the end I wasn't selected for the role which wasn't the fault of either Kintec or the other recruitment company. Dear Kintec, I will not be contacting you at the email you have provided, as I dont believe your company will change. If you truly want to change, develop some internal metrics that hold your recruiters accountable for their actions. An example of a metric you could track is that all candidates should be aware of their status by the end of the recruitment process.
In my example I know I didnt get the job because I contacted the job holder, however I have yet to hear from your recruiter that I was unsuccessful even though this was 3-4 weeks ago. Every person who applies for a job through you deserves to know the final decision, it isnt fair to leave us in limbo as it effects our livelihood.

Shocking cold calling and then absolutely no interest in engaging and finding out if the role is suitable, after wasting my time. Clearly only interested in churning out a 'finders fee' for however they are recruiting for. No desire to actually treat the people respectfully. Just a database of names to use for their self-interest. Avoid like the plague!
