The recruiters make the job seekers give a lot information, will call all your references from different recruiters/jobs, and not employ you with any of their clients. A genuine waste of time for a job seeker. Unprofessional and useless agency.

This agency also bothered my references and lied to me and told me the hiring manager asked for them, pretty sure he didn't. I specifically said from the beginning I do not want my references being bothered unless I am under high consideration for a role. Instead they lie, say that the person you're interviewing with asked for them and bother them anyways.

They even went so far as to ask one of my references to meet in person, without my knowledge. Who has time for that? My references are not going to want to be my references anymore if people are going to bother them asking to meet in person. So disrespectful and unprofessional. There's a million other agencies you can get work from in NYC, so I would go elsewhere. Also - most will not bother your references or lie to you.

WILL NOT FIND YOU EMPLOYMENT & WILL BOTHER YOUR REFERENCES! The recruiter's name is Samantha Shobe. She will call all your references, waste your time, and NOT land you an interview. After hearing back from my references being bothered, i asked her if she contacted them and why would she do so-- if she had no intention of helping me. She got upset and basically told me the priority is the client not the job seeker.

I informed her there are other ways of screening candidates. There are background checks, LinkedIn recommendations, letter of recommendations and of course experience. I also recall having another recruiter contact me and asking for my references again. Unbelievable. It's UNPROFESSIONAL and MISLEADING to treat candidates this way. Why bother calling, leading candidates on with false hope, and bothering their professional references (busy at work) if you have no intention of helping? Shameful & disgusting. ---- P.S. I am now happily employed through my own means, and only came here to warn others.
