Local Care Force

I work for local care force and it's such an amazing company! They have plenty of shifts that you can work around your life and they are so understanding about! My training from them was really well done and fun! I know that if I had any issues within anywhere I could turn to my manager and speak freely! All very professional! Have recommended a few friends now to work them!

I enjoy working for local care force, very flexible could choose type of shifts and work as per your availability, I love the fact I can choose as where and when you can work, I get offered plenty of shifts. I love the office staff, really nice and approachable. No hassle or pressure.

I have just joined this agency after 2 years with a different one. Local Care Force is different from other agencies. After induction I left with shifts and since then I have been working as much as I want. They tell me where to go and the best bus to get and when I was lost i rang the office and they told me which way to go. I can only say this is the best agency, thank you especially Chris in the care team

Local Care Force is a brilliant company to work for. I always get a warm welcome from the staff in the office, no matter how busy they are! I get loads of work and most importantly, I've always been paid on time. They have a great range of courses to build and sharpen skills as well. These guys are awesome.

I have worked for LCF for over three years both as a Registered Nurse and as a member of the office team. Amazing, committed friendly staff work across all three branches. I job hopped before coming to LCF never staying in a role for longer than 12 months. That I'm still here loving my role 3 years later is testament to LCFs commitment and loyalty to its staff.

Worked for the agency for nearly 4 years and I love it. Huge variety of shifts to choose from that suit you. Great, friendly and professional staff bend over backwards to help you, especially the care desk. Would highly recommend.

Apply to this company as a Support Worker, .got the job, worked few months everything went well until I even did my restraint training to increase my working hours and make this my main job as loved the homes where they supply. but all went upside down because I cancelled a shifts(due to emergency appointment which I did text, called and spoke to someone who never passed on the message to the team and they concluded I never called) and another one which I got last minute from Adam and found I couldn't afford the bus service to and from which could have been easily solve by initially proposed to contribute to bus fare instead of telling me I wasn't going to get anymore shift if I don't go to that one, treating me like a payroll number, asked to speak to someone else hopping better as was unhappy with that and went I got Tracy on phone, she said same and even brought back the previous story I never called to cancel the previous( never asked why emergency appointment and if everything was ok), said how unreliable I am.without carrying any investigations. Realising this wasn't going anywhere, she now proposed to pay my bus fare which I refused after all they said and how they treated me, she "verbally" sack me, said it was a wrongful dismissal and she told me I am not an employer, asked her if 0 hour contract means you are not employed?, she now said she can tell the care department team If wanted to work with them as I was not going to get anymore work from the support worker department.

How can you dismiss a staff without any investigations or solid reasons? How can you tell an employee he is not employed? Why would you passe me to another department of same company if you do not trust me or believe me to be unreliable? I just qualified this as unprofessional, lack of maturity and i think some stupidity. ****worse work experience ever****

I worked with LCF back in 2012 till 2014, I left due to relocating. I came back to Leeds in 2016 and have worked with LCF ever since - I work with the Social Care Team and i always have as many hours as i needs. They are very understanding when I want to change from night shifts to day shifts and always help me get the shifts i need. When i was staying with a family member who was ill in York for sometime they made sure i had lots of hours near to where i stayed in York, when i moved back to Leeds they made sure i had all the hours i wanted in the leeds area.

I have done various trainings with LCF over the years and they helped me find work in the mental health settings which i liked. Everyone at LCF have always been very friendly and take an interest in how i am. I have worked for many agencies over the years and LCF is the best. I have sent so many friends here who i have met and they are all very happy and get lots of work. Thank u LCF

Iam proud to be associated with local care force. I like the friendly positive and dignified approach accorded to all staffs working for the agency and nurses. They put a smile on everybody's face visiting the office. I love the relaxed atmosphere one experiences when in the office.

We received care for my mum from this service. We had previously had two other care providers! I have to say they were very helpful, friendly and professional. They made the whole experiance for my mum as comforting as possible, they treated mum with respect, dignity and supported us and her until she passed away in our own home. Thank you so much
