Mainstream offers a wide range of nationally accredited, award winning courses for businesses and individuals.

Where permitted by the awarding bodies we can tailor course content to your specific needs. Funding is available to employers who would like to train their staff and improve productivity.

Who we are

Mainstream started in 1997, with just three people, a forklift truck and a single lorry. It is now a major national and international provider of training and recruitment. Our team of more than 200 includes around 100 highly skilled and experienced instructors, covering a wide range of courses and vocational qualifications.

Mainstream has a large team of highly qualified and experienced instructors, able to deliver a wide range of courses in logistics, transport, warehousing and construction. As well as the core courses offered at our training centre, we can also send our instructors to your premises to train your team on your own equipment.

Forklift & Warehouse

This course is for those who have not been formally trained or have little to no experience in operating a Forklift Truck. On completion of course, trainees will have attained a level of operating skill, which comply with standard laid down in accordance with the HSE code of practise L117. This is for those who have at least one years' worth of continual experience in operating a Forklift Truck.

Driver training

Report

Qualified LGV drivers are always in demand, so it's good to know that Mainstream is the only provider in our locality to operate its own DSA driving test centre. This gives you the unique advantage of being able to practise in the test locality all through your training, whereas other providers usually need to test in another area.
