Benchmark Search Group

Benchmark Search was established in 2002 to provide for the Defence and Security market. It subsequently grew and spread into other sectors, notably infastructure services and the law and ever since 2005 has had a significant practice in Retail and Hospitality. David Montgomery is Managing Director and was co-founder, in 2002, of Benchmark Search, and leads on all senior level searches.

Born and raised in East Africa where he still has a home [see www.ampoja.com]. Prior to 2002 he was the Chief Operating Officer for Hanover Matrix Executive Search, before which he had a successful military career, joining as a young graduate from Exeter University and retiring as a Brigadier, having commanded 7th Armoured Brigade, 'The Desert Rats'.
