I visit Tyler Mason on a regular basis & every time I go, they make me feel pampered and beautiful. My stylist is sweet and talented, always friendly. I haven't ever had any complaints & I always leave happy. When they wash my hair, I get a scalp massage, my cut and style only takes about 30 minutes. Then I am confident & ready for my day. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. I have also had a mani, Pedi. Very nice and so relaxing. I love going to Tyler Mason to be pampered and made beautiful.

After many years of driving past. I finally took advantage of a gift card I received for my bday, and glad I did. I was always skeptical, if I'm being honest, not thinking this salon was for me or black people in general. I still would not stop there for a hair appointment but this salon is so much more. I had a body treatment and loved everything about it.
The ladies that helped, the ambiance, even the spa music. The only thing I'd change would be water while you wait and a longer session. I think I heard myself snore a couple times Ha! Trish was amazing and comforting. She explained everything and the expectations. She even respected my privacy as I had to switch positions . Great job! Can't wait to visit again.

So, I am a guy and this salon has about 85% female clientele so take what I say with a grain of salt if you're looking for quality of women's hair work. The staff is fantastic. They are all friendly and they all give great cuts. They listen and they remember you and when you get into a groove with a specific stylist it is very easy to keep seeing that stylist.
I also like that the prices are such that tipping isn't really a thing. The stylists are paid by the company for the quality of their work and it allows me to enjoy the experience without constantly judging each little thing. It's great without having to worry about how great it is and there is just something about a nice scalp massage. I'd give it 6 out of 5 if I could. Its a gem in Indy.

Had a wonderful experience. My granddaughter wanted a hair cut, I hated to do it since her hair was almost to her waist. The girls were fantastic! Upbeat, and very kind, made the experience for me easier, and she felt like the princess that she is. I highly recommend this place. Very clean, and classy.
