Absolutely horrendous experience! I'm an experienced science teacher, with over 11 year experience teaching in independent schools across London. My enquiry with the independent schools team was simply to start my search for a new teaching role from the beginning of September, as I was made aware that Harris Hill works exclusively with schools in the independent sector.

I was directed to a lady named Devra, who was, without a shadow of doubt, the rudest and most condescending human I have ever communicated with. Essentially, she told me that she had limited faith in the quality of my CV, despite me working in some of the best independent schools in the country over the past 11 years. Also, she then started quizzing me, rather sternly for no particular reason, about any previous disciplinaries, to which I assured her that that there weren't any.

I was then told that I would receive relevant updates on my job search, which, at this stage, I have yet to receive a word from them since I first enquired in December. Absolutely disgraceful candidate care displayed by Devra. I felt unwelcomed and unvalued from the outset, after just a polite enquiry about potential teaching roles for September. I will be avoiding this agency completely moving forward, as well as advising all friends and colleagues to do the same.
